-
Based on Space Saving Technology,
this plant occupies much lesser space
than existing plants of the same capacity
in the country.
-
It has the facility to run on either
only Alum or Alum & Polyelectrolyte
combination. The latter option keeps
the Operation and Maintenance cost to
a minimum.
-
Use of nozzle-based filters creates
an enhanced quality of filtered water
as compared to conventional ones.
-
The raw water source coming from the
Hooghly River poses a significant threat
of organic growth in the filter beds.
However, our design incorporating a
high rate backwash coupled with filter
bed fluidization prevents any such occurrence.
